This is the home of the Royal Blue Band from Cold Springs High School, located in Bremen, Alabama. Cold Springs is in the Cullman County School district. This website is where you can keep up with the band's activities throughout the school year.
Ok everyone I am back at school! Things went well in my absence. It seems the students treated the substitutes nicely. Again, I want to thank everyone for helping make things work in my absence. It takes a team to make the band work, anyway. And everyone really did a great job of keeping the band running while I was out tending to my family.
Baby Lincoln is doing great. So is my wife Sydney. We'll try to bring him to the Christmas Concert so everyone can see him.
Upcoming Rehearsals
Since the Christmas Concert is coming up quickly, since we lose next Tuesday due to Veterans Day, AND we lose an entire week due to Thanksgiving, we're going to have to have some after-school rehearsals to make this Christmas Concert happen. I want to have full band rehearsals for the next three Thursdays. These after-school rehearsals will be until 4:30pm. I have added those dates to the band calendar on our website.
If you have some prior commitment, just let me know and we'll make arrangements. I know that this coming Thursday rehearsal is a bit of short notice for some, so just send me an email or a Rooms message and let me know if there is a conflict and I will not count your student absent. But let's try to make arrangments so students can be at these rehearsals. We need every second we can get to make this a good Christmas Concert!
Here are the three added rehearsals. They are all on Thursday:
November 6th, 13th, and 20th. 3pm-4:30pm
Beginner Band Tutoring
We are finally ready to start Beginner Band Tutoring! Those will happen on Mondays after school until 4pm. This coming Monday, November 10th, will be our first one. Leadership and older band members, please make sure to stay after school for that so we can help these beginners.
